Terms of use

This site is owned and operated by RecruitEvents and is made available to you on the following terms and conditions. By using RecruitEvents (“the site”) and the services available on the site you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions and any additional terms and conditions which apply to services and information provided by third parties. When you use the website after any adjustment, you will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions, which are subject to change at any time.

Your use of the site

The information and services available on the site should be used for lawful purposes when seeking employment opportunities or to help with your career and for clients (“recruiters”) seeking to recruit staff. Under no circumstances may you attempt to undermine the security of the website, or any other information published to or made accessible on the site, including by attempting to access, modify, or delete anything to which you are not authorised. Attempting to change, decompile, or otherwise alter the website’s coding or information is prohibited, as is using any device, routine, or software to harm, delay, disrupt, or otherwise interfere with the site’s functionality. 

It is your responsibility to ensure that the data you submit to the website is accurate, truthful, current, and neither misleading nor likely to mislead or defraud recruiters. Information that is insulting, discriminatory, or otherwise illegal is strictly forbidden. Additionally, it is your responsibility to ensure that none of the data and files you post to the website contain any viruses or other harmful software. We reserve the right to remove information if we believe it is in violation of the terms and conditions and will do so whenever we deem it to be necessary, for any reason, and without being compelled to give a justification.

If you decided that you want to leave us (delete your account), you can simply reach out to us (“RecruitEvents”) by filling out an enquiry form on our contact us page. Once we have received your request to delete your account, we will process your request within 48 hours and delete your account and all your information (“data”) you have published/added to our site. We will delete and remove all the following: 

  • Your account (“your profile”)
  • All your applications made to opportunity postings.
 

Interactivity between talent (“applicants and or candidates”) and clients (“Recruiters”) needs to remain strictly professional and is relating to opportunities on the site (“RecruitEvents”). Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you believe a client (“employer”) is condoning in illegal activity that could include violence, threatening messages, misleading information and discrimination. If such activity is taking place; the suspected account will be investigated and forbidden if Us (“RecruitEvents”) believe it is going against our terms and conditions. 

If we suspect you are using the site for illegitimate purposes and are going against our terms and conditions, we have the right to terminate your registration and/or refuse access to the website or any portion of it at any time and without notice.

Clients must create an account with us (“RecruitEvents”) in order to gain access to the services available these services will be provided in accordance with these terms and conditions. This site should be used for lawful purposes when seeking and promoting opportunities on the site to help with finding suitable talent for your business/organisation. Under no circumstance may you attempt to undermine the security of the website, or any other information published or made accessible to you on the site, including by attempting to access, modify, or delete anything you are not authorised. Attempting to change, recompile, or otherwise alter the website’s coding or information is prohibited, as in using any device routine, or software to harm, delay, disrupt, or otherwise interfere with the site’s functionality. 

RecruitEvents reserves the rights to terminate any account immediately without liability and explanation if any of the following has occurred:

  1. The client has provided inaccurate, misleading or false contact or company information.
  2. We (“RecruitEvents”) believe the client is using the site unlawfully.
  3. The client defaults/frauds on payment.
  4. The client uses the site to advertise other sites, services or business in any part of the job vacancy or the site.
  5. The client has shared personal information and or Profile/CV search access with a third party. 
 

If we suspect you are using the site for illegitimate purposes and are going against these terms and conditions, we have the right to terminate your account and/or refuse access to the site at any given moment without notice or explanation. 

Once upon completion of creating an account with us, posting a vacancy comes with applied fee which are published on the ‘Post an opportunity’ section, clients have to pay the according fees. A legally binding contract between the client and RecruitEvents will come into effect when a purchase has been made and or confirmation of the services purchased has been completed. We cannot accept cancellations or provide refunds on successful transactions. 

Online payments services will be carried out by using Stripe as our payment processor on RecruitEvents, Stripe does not disclose any of your payment details to us; so your account details are safe and not shared with anyone. Please ensure your details are accurate and up to date so your payment will go through readily. 

We (“RecruitEvents”) reserve the rights to adjust the said fees and/or these terms and conditions from time to time, this won’t affect current purchased made by the client. 

If you make a purchase with us; by purchasing our package to post a job and profile search you have the right to request a refund within 14 days of your purchase if you have not used our site; which include posting a job or using the profile searching feature with us (“RecruitEvents”). Once you have submitted your request with us; we will process your request between 48-72 hours. 

We (“RecruitEvents”) offers a 30-day money back guarantee on purchases made to post an opportunity with us. This is subject to not receiving sufficient;  which is subject to 3 or below applicants within the 30-day period from posting an opportunity to RecruitEvents. This deal will last till January 1, 2024. If you haven’t received or have insufficient applicants for your posting then please reach out to us and we will deal with your request/refund.

If you decided that you want to leave us (delete your account), you can simply reach out to us (“RecruitEvents”) by filling out an enquiry form on our contact us page. Once we have received your request to delete your account, we will process your request within 48 hours and delete your account and all additional users associated with your company. We will delete and remove all the following: 

  • Your personal account with us (including additional users) 
  • Your opportunities posted on RecruitEvents. 
  • Your company profile. 
  • All your applicants to your postings. 

Any unused credits that your account/company has on RecruitEvents will be lost and we do not accept refunds on unused credits if you decided to delete your account.

Interactivity between talent (“applicants and or candidates”) and clients (“Recruiters”) can be made simple by contacting the candidate through their email stated either on their CV or profile. It is your responsibility to make sure the communication remains strictly professional, relating to opportunities on the site (“RecruitEvents”). If we suspect that either an (“applicant and or candidates”) and clients (“recruiters”) is using inappropriate, or any form go threatening behaviour to one another then we will suspend your account until further notice. 

Information on the site

We make every effort to guarantee that the information on our website is accurate and thorough, but since some of the information regarding job opportunities is given to us by third parties (“recruiters”), we are unable to verify its veracity. We do not take accountability for any inaccurate or deceptive information offered to users through the website by third parties.

All third parties have agreed to our terms and conditions, they won’t be permitted to use the website if they violate the client terms and conditions. 

Links to other sites

When using this site, you may click links to other websites that are best for helping you to gather more information from an opportunity or to fulfil the application. These other sites that you may be directed to are referred from “Our Partners” in which we have an affiliation with them by sourcing jobs from their platform to host on the RecruitEvents site to be visible to the public. We do not accept accountability or responsibility for the content of those sites. Using the automatic links to gain access to third party sites is at your own risk.

Information submitted by talent

RecruitEvents (“Us”) will use the information provided by you to us to support the recruitment process to find suitable and reliable job opportunities. We will process the information/data you provide upon completing the account registration, uploading your CV or any other application forms that may occur during the process of job seeking with in guidance of the relevant data protection legislation. More about data protection legislation is explained in our Privacy Policy.

When creating a profile and or uploading your CV on RecruitEvents, you are requesting and authorising us (“RecruitEvents”) to make available your profile to anyone accessing our site, such as employers (“recruiters”) that have an interest in your profile or CV. It is your responsibility to keep your information on your profile up-to-date and not to be misleading, insulting or discriminatory. The option to add imagery (profile picture) to your profile is optional; in which clients (“recruiters”) can view your profile picture. When uploading content and or information to your profile, it is your responsibility to ensure the content is professional and presentable to recruiters (“clients”). Content that contains inappropriate and or explicit imagery including images containing or promoting violence; including violent language, misleading information, graphic and or explicit imagery of violence, pornography, nudity and physical trauma to either humans or animals is strictly prohibited and will result in termination of the account permanently. 

By creating a profile and or uploading a CV on RecruitEvents (“Us”) that you authorise RecruitEvents to scan and or review you profile to ensure you are in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. 

Information submitted by employers

When putting an opportunity to the site it is your responsibility to ensure the information you submit is accurate, truthful, current and neither misleading or nor likely to mislead or defraud applicants/job seekers. Posting opportunities, or anything on the website in which any material which is illegal, defamatory, offensive, fraudulent, violent, discriminatory, obscene or sexually explicit in which may affect RecruitEvents or the reputation of RecruitEvents. With this the client agrees to use the site and the services provided in ‘good faith’ in which poses as posting authentic, impartial and unique jobs in the industry of reasonable quality, which provide both adequate and accurate information to the job details. This include sufficient detail about the client and the vacancy to applicants including without limitations the Client’s identity, the nature of the business, the role, the type of work to be performed, the commencement date, the likely duration, the hours of work per week, the location, the remuneration, the intervals of payment and benefits, and notice periods required to be given and received. The client is responsible for verifying applicants responses to the vacancy postings, this includes the identity, eligibility to work, experience, training, qualifications and any other authorisations required by the client, by law or any relevant professional body for the vacancy. RecruitEvents take no liability on the verification of the applicants with any other subsequent dealings between the client and any applicants. If there are any concerns about an applicant using the site illegally, please don’t hesitate to contact us at hello@recruitevents.co.uk so we can look into the matter. The client accepts responsibility for any harm that it may suffer or incur in relation to the engagement of the applicant and shall hold RecruitEvents harmless against any losses in connection.

Clients must comply with all the applicable laws, including without limitation, the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Equality Act 2010. Once submitting a vacancy to the site, the client thereby confirms that the content complies with these legislations.

The client shall not post a vacancy where; there is a risk to health and safety of any applicant at the location where the permitted work is going to be performed (unless the client undertakes to inform the candidates of such risk and caries out necessary protocols/steps to control and or limit such risks); or the vacancy involves working with venerable persons, including without limitations, under 18 years of age or in need of care and or supervision, the client in this case must take all responsibility that all protocols and or complying with the relevant laws and or guidelines to confirm that that candidate is not unsuitable for the vacancy in which RecruitEvents are not liable for this matter. 

When customising a company profile on “RecruitEvents” it is your responsibility to keep your information on your profile up-to-date and not to be misleading, insulting or discriminatory. The option to add imagery to your profile is optional; in which you “Recruiter” is able to view your company and manage if swiftly. When uploading content and or information to your company profile, it is your responsibility to ensure the content is professional and presentable to individuals using the site. Content that contains inappropriate and or explicit imagery including images and or videos containing or promoting violence; including violent language, misleading information, graphic and or explicit imagery of violence, pornography, nudity and physical trauma to either humans or animals is strictly prohibited and will result in termination of the account permanently. 

By creating a company profile on RecruitEvents (“Us”) that you authorise RecruitEvents to scan and or review you profile to ensure you are in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. 

Profile Searching and Applicants

To access the profile of applicants, the client must create an account with us and set up the fundamental steps to allow rights to view and effectively screen potential applicants on your client account with us (“RecruitEvents”). The searching can only be used for recruitment purposes. Using the profile searching for the purpose of marketing or direct selling, to search or download information on the candidates is strictly prohibited and will result in a suspension of the clients account.

The clients must not share its access to the profiles of applicants to any other third parties, including confidential and or sensitive information. 

Security and Passwords

When registering with us, you will need a username and password. You are solely responsible for the security and use of your password, which you must remain confidential at all times and not reveal to anyone else. If you believe someone else knows your password or that it has been used improperly, you must inform us right away. We do not accept liability for the misuse or unauthorised use of any password.

Interruptions when using the site

Even though we make every effort to maintain the site’s quality, the internet and the servers that support it may not always be reliable. This may involve errors, disruptions, and service delays, and they could happen at any time. We may occasionally change the software requirements for this site; however, we do not take responsibility for any errors, disruptions, or service delays in the operation of the website or any part of it.

Trademarks

This site (“RecruitEvents”) main logo ‘RecruitEvents’ is a registered trademark which is solely owned by RecruitEvents. Reproduction of the logo in any form is strictly prohibited, this includes but not limited to, using the logo in any manner; which could be for setting up a similar business with the same logo, registration of a logo identical to RecruitEvents branding, using the logo on any tangible goods or packaging including marketing or promotional purposes unless you have permission accredited from “RecruitEvents”.
