This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, store information both talent (“job seekers”) and clients (“employers”) share with RecruitEvents. 

By using this site (“RecruitEvents”) you are agreeing and consenting to the collection, use and storage of your data as described in this Privacy Policy. Lawful basis for processing your personal data

The data that is collected about you is automatically and processed for RecruitEvents legitimate interest. These Interest include the following: services provided by the site (“RecruitEvents”) including job seekers (“talent”) seeking employment, setting up a profile, applying for opportunities with us and employers (“clients”) seeking applicants, posting opportunities, setting up a company profile and or communicating with potential candidates. These interests are to ensure the security and integrity of our site (“RecruitEvents”) functions adequately, help detect and prevent fraud and to understand (“talent”) and (“clients”) to improve and existing and developing services. 

RecruitEvents has legitimate interest in protecting talent (“job seekers”) and clients (“employers”) and maintaining their safety and welfare when using our site.  

Information we collect about you

We (“RecruitEvents”) will collect information about you when you use our site and apply for an opportunity or are posting an opportunity and/or searching for candidates using our candidate searching feature. We receive and store this information when you enter it on our website, send it to us, or provide it us is any other form. The information/data you send to RecruitEvents is held by the web host (“Siteground”), for more information about Siteground’s Privacy Policy you can do so here.

For Talent (“job seekers”); we collect information when you choose provide us with it. This includes:

  • Contact information such, as name, email address, address and phone number
  • Information stated in your CV
  • Profile information; name, imagery (profile photo), description, recent job title (or current), qualifications (including educational or professional), job history, professional licences and affiliations. 
  • Information you import from third party applications
  • Your application to clients (“employers”)
  • Information you provide when you contact RecruitEvents (“Us”) 

For Clients (“employers”); we collect information when you choose to provide us with it. This includes:

  • Contact information such, as name, email address and company name
  • Company information, such as business name, size, type and company link (website link)
  • Details about the opportunity you are wishing to publish on RecruitEvents
  • Information you provide when you contact RecruitEvents (“Us”)
  • Your history of payments (using our partner WooCommerce to process and or view orders made)
  • The number of credits you have purchased and used

Information automatically collected by all users when interacting with the site (“RecruitEvents”):

  • Your activity on RecruitEvents, including opportunities you search for, view and apply and opportunities you post.
  • Your internet protocol (IP) address and internet service provider (ISP)
  • Your login information 
  • Your browser type, version and ID
  • Files viewed on our site (e.g. HTML, pages etc.)
  • Operating systems, date/time stamp, and or clickstream data (Uniform Resource Locators (URL))
  • Page response times, errors and lengths to certain pages
  • Page interactions including: clicks, mouseovers and scrolling

How we use your personal data

We (“RecruitEvents”) use all the information collected by you to provide our services, respond to you, operate and improve our site and features/applications to allow all users to have a pleasant experience when using our site. RecruitEvents use your information/data you send to use to do the following: 

  • To be able to create an account and set up a profile (company profile) with RecruitEvents and use the services available to you
  • To develop and improve our site quality and functionally (understand customer engagement with the content on our site)
  • To facilitate a payment (using our payment provider Woocommerce payments)
  • To provide you access to post an opportunity and conduct profile searching
  • To highlight the remaining balance (Credits) to your company
  • To help clients (“employers”) find your profile and to contact you
  • For RecruitEvents to get in touch with you regarding giveaways and marketing purpose that occur on our site or social media accounts.
  • To track your activity on the site (with the use of cookies and the opportunities you view, favourite and apply) – (opportunities that you post and profile and CV searches/downloads)
  • Facilitate social media sharing (that sharing of an opportunity that is posted by a client (“employer”), and/or a company profile)  
  • To resolve any complaints, and handle requests for data access or correct required by the law and or governing bodies (including: to detect, investigate and prevent illegal activity such as, money laundering, fraud, scams, identify theft, terrorism and abuse/child labour)
  • To establish and defend legal rights (including: protecting our site/business, companies tied to us (“Clients”), our Terms and Conditions, Our (“RecruitEvents”) rights, privacy, safety and welfare to use and all our users). 
  • When making a payment; you will be sent a confirmation email/s with your details showcasing what you ordered. 

Storing your information

The data that we (“RecruitEvents”) store is held by our web host (“Siteground”) by submitting your personal data you agree to Siteground and RecruitEvents storing your data you submit to us. The data that you provide to us may be transferred or stored at a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Once submitting your data to RecruitEvents (“the site”) you agree to this transfer, storing and process of data. 

We (“RecruitEvents”) will take all the necessary steps to ensure your data submitted to us is treated securely and accordance with this Privacy Policy. When asked to generate a password or provided by one that provides you access with certain parts of the site, it is your responsibility to keep the password confidential and not be shared with anyone. 

We (“RecruitEvents”) retain your data only for as long as necessary or until you ask us to delete your personal data and or for a verity of legitimate legal or business purposes. This may include: 

  • For security and fraud protection mandated by the law, that is applicable to our business logistics;
  • resolve disputes, investigate security incidents, prevent fraud and abuse, meet regulatory requirements and enforce our User Agreement 
When wanting to post an opportunity with us (“RecruitEvents”) you will have to fill out debit/credit card details, billing address to fulfil your order; Stripe (“payment processor”) uses this information to complete your order with us. As we have options to pay via Apple Pay and Google Pay; the same applies. No card details are shared or held by RecruitEvents. 
Unfortunately, the storage of information/data via the internet is not 100% secure. Although we (“RecruitEvents”) will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data submitted to our site; any uploading of data and or information is at your own risk. Upon receiving information from you, RecruitEvents will use strict procedures to prevent any unauthorised access to sensitive information.

How we share information

We (“RecruitEvents”) may share your information with third parties that may include:

  • Clients (“employers”), when you make your profile visible and when applying for an opportunity (we will disclose this information to the third parties when you give your consent for us to do so)
  • Talent (“job seekers”) to see information provided by the (“employers”) on their opportunity postings
  • Third parties required by the law; 
  •  if we become obligated to share your information and or data with law enforcement to and or protect the rights, property, safety to us (“RecruitEvents”), clients, customers, and or the general public. This includes exchanging information with other companies/organisations for the purpose of fraud, general criminal or protect national security.

Important information about Profiles and CV uploads

When you create a profile and/or upload your CV with us (“RecruitEvents”), we store it with our web host (“Siteground”). You can control your profile visibility with your account settings. Visible profiles can be viewed by anyone (“employers”) with access to our profile searching database. We cannot control the retention, use of privacy of the profiles and CV’s that have been viewed or downloaded by clients (“employers”). As third parties who have access to our data base, once your profile or CV has been retrieved, RecruitEvents (“us”) is not able to retrieve it back from clients (“employers”) who has accessed it; in which they may retain a copy for legitimate purposes. 

You should not disclose any personal or sensitive information that you wish not to be made public; as this is at your own risk. When creating a profile or uploading your CV on RecruitEvents, sensitive information should not be included is:

  • National Insurance number 
  • Driving licence number
  • Bank details 
  • Credit or Debit card details
  • Passwords
  • Date of Birth  
  • Criminal offences or processing’s and associated penalties or fines
If you do send us this information you agree that it is at your own risk. 


Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect information log and visitation behaviour. We (“RecruitEvents”) use cookies to track user movements, to gather demographic information about our user base and to help provide us with the necessary information to help personalise and maximise your experience when using the site, improving search results, track user trends, recommended opportunities etc.

  • Security (these cookies allow us to secure access to your account and keep you logged in)
  • Preference (these cookies are used to store your preference such as, display of opportunity search results/recent opportunity searches)
  • Analytics (these cookies are used to track user patterns so we can identify popular content and potential issues with the sites functionality)
  • Features (these cookies are used to track which opportunities you search, view, apply and favourite. For clients (“employers”) these cookies will be used to track searched profiles and CV’s on the database and opportunity postings)
  • Advertising (these cookies are used to show you latest opportunities on the site)

You can control your cookies at borrower level, but if you decide to disable cookies, it may impact or limit your use of certain features or functions on our site (“RecruitEvents”). This includes: 

  • Signing up with RecruitEvents
  • Posting opportunities on RecruitEvents
  • Applying for opportunities on RecruitEvents 
  • Viewing and downloading talent (“job seekers/candidates or applicants”) profiles and CV’s
When applying for opportunities on RecruitEvents, you may be directed to an external site in which will be the clients (“employers”) own site to complete an application. These external sites will use their own cookies, so you will have to refer to their cookie and privacy policies for more information. 

Other sites

Our website contains links to other websites that may ask you to fill out forms or simply apply for opportunities on their platform. This Privacy Policy only applies to this site (“RecruitEvents”), so when you link to other sites you should review their own Privacy Policies, and this is at your own risk. 

Your Rights

You have the right to ask what personal data that RecruitEvents holds about you at any given moment, the right to ask us not to send you any related marketing communications based of your personal data and the right to ask us to update and or correct any incorrect personal data that we may hold about you. 

Access to, or correction, update and or deletion of your personal may be denied or limited by RecruitEvents if it would violate or pose harm to another person’s rights and/or as otherwise permitted by the law.

We (“RecruitEvents”) is not intended or directed towards and or do we knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18. If we suspect children are using our site (“RecruitEvents”) will have to terminate the account at any time and without notice.
